We don't send technicians, we don't sell equipment, and we never charge homeowners anything. When you call our number or submit a form, your request goes to an independent, licensed Nevada HVAC contractor serving the Pahrump Valley, who may pay us a referral fee. That fee never changes your price — contractors treat referred jobs like any other job.
The rest of the site — the cost guides, the vetting checklists, the company guide — is free with no strings, whether you ever use the referral service or not.
How our research is done
Every cost range on this site follows the same method: we start from national installed-cost and repair-cost datasets tracking real projects, then adjust for Nye County labor rates and Pahrump's actual housing and equipment mix — the manufactured-home packaged units, the 3–4 ton splits, the dust-driven failure patterns. Each guide carries a methodology note and an "updated" date, and we re-verify ranges as the market moves (2025–2026 moved a lot: the R-454B refrigerant transition, expired federal credits, rising labor).
Local facts are checked against local sources: Nevada State Contractors Board records for licensing, Valley Electric Association (Pahrump's actual utility — not NV Energy, whatever the rebate ads say) for rate context, and Nye County for permitting requirements.
